Exploring Journeys
The word journey is among humanity's oldest and most enduring metaphors. It speaks not only of movement across landscapes and borders, but of transformation itself. Mark Twain’s quip “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” wonderfully highlighted the value of journeys.
Some journeys are physical—across cities, countries and continents. They may be undertaken in hope, in search of opportunity, or under the compulsion of conflict, climate, or circumstance. Others are journeys of the mind: the gradual unfolding of understanding, the courage to challenge assumptions, and the willingness to embrace new perspectives, values and ways of seeing the world. Still others are journeys of the soul, where no distance is travelled, yet entire lifetimes are crossed in the quiet evolution of identity, purpose and belonging. French born American novelist summarised this wonderfully when she said
"We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls."

Through cinema, theatre, music, literature, visual arts and meaningful conversations, we explore the many journeys that define the human experience.
Every journey carries its own human story. There is always something left behind and something yet to be discovered. There is memory and inheritance, loss and longing, resilience and renewal. We are shaped by where we come from, transformed by where we go, and continually redefined by what we choose to carry forward. It is this endless process of becoming that we call human evolution. Little wonder therefore why T.S Eliot wrote

Our inaugural production is The Tagore Trilogy—three contemporary feature films inspired by the timeless musicals of Rabindranath Tagore.
Presented in English and enriched with Bengali, Hindi and other languages, the trilogy explores one of the defining themes of our age:
Migration.
